American Sign Language

This is an introductory course to American Sign Language (ASL), which is one the most popular languages studied in the United States. You can expect to learn the alphabet, numbers, basic signs and phrases. You will also be introduced to Deaf Culture through class discussions.

Introductory Spanish for Travel

Students will learn cultural information pertinent for traveling to Spanish speaking countries, as well as important basic phrases to help get around, introduce themselves, get to know people and talk about their families, ask for directions, take taxis, order food, communicate at hotels, etc.

Conversational Spanish

This class will allow students with previous Spanish speaking experience to converse 100% in the target language. Discussion topics will involve Spanish speaking cultures and be guided by class interest, including such topics as reading short stories, exploring current events, learning about music and dance, cultures and history. Grammar and vocabulary taught will reinforce student learning.

French for Traveling 1

Learn useful phrases that will help you in a French speaking country. We will learn how to introduce yourself, order food, make a reservation and ask for directions.
