The ELO program at Kennett High School is an opportunity for students to explore and receive credit for extended learning activities outside the traditional classroom.

Internships are unpaid experiences with local businesses and non-profits. These experiences vary widely and are credit bearing. 


 Job Shadowsjob shadows

If a student doesn't want to commit to an internship, but wants to explore a certain career, a job shadow is an excellent opportunity.

 Work Co-opswork co-op

Work co-ops are paid opportunities for students who have been involved in a Career and Tech program for 2 years or more. It's an opportunity to get experience in the field and gain credit for your time.
Independent Studyindependent study

This is your opportunity to explore a subject at your own pace or delve into a project off campus for core credit such as research at the Mount Washington Observatory or developing a marketing plan for a local non-profit. The possibilities are endless.
Group ELOsgroup elo


​Group ELOs are a chance to work with your peers on a project. These experiences may be credit bearing as well.
